Match report Berkhamsted won the toss and decided to bat first on a grey and windy evening. The opening pair of George and Ted started well, putting on 22 in the first 3 overs but Tring hit back with 2 quick wickets from Robert and Scott. Solid partnerships from Charlie and Frazer (20) and Harvey and Jonathan (18) put the home side in a good position, but good bowling in the last four overs pegged back the big hitting combo of Oliver and Charlie N, who was bowled by an excellent ball from James. Oliver with 19 top scored for Berko who posted a decent total of 270. In reply Tring found runs hard to come by against a pacy Berkhamsted attack. The second pair of Scott and Tom battled well but a well-executed run out undid a lot of their good work, and the visitors never really recovered. The final pair of James and Anthony were looking solid until the last over when Charlie N impressively bowled both batsmen with consecutive balls. The other wicket takers for Berko were Charlie M, Jonathan and Frazer.
