Match report Berkhamsted batted steadily in the face of some tidy bowling from a very young Potten End team. Ed Tidey (8) and Kripa (13) shared a good partnership of 25 to put the home side in a strong position, but Potten End came back with 2 wickets in an over from Harry and some accurate bowling from Will, Alex and Daisy Lee. James Attenborough (12) and George Wardle (5) negotiated the final four overs without losing any more wickets, setting the visitors a target of 275. Potten End’s reply started well – Alex (10) and Neal (5) batted confidently and put on 21, but a good spells from Ed and Kripa – making his debut – stopped the flow of runs. Both Archie and James held good catches to leave the visitors 33 runs short at the close. Harry top scored for Potten End with 12. A good match on a beautiful June evening.
