Match report Redbourn, batting first, made a respectable total after two solid partnerships and an impressive innings of 22 by Dimwoody. Jonathan Garwood, Luke Pipes, and James Wilton were the wicket takers for Berkhamsted, who were set a total of 236 for victory. They got off to a good enough start in reply – with George Lewarne and James Wilton sharing an unbeaten partnership of 19 – but Redbourn came back in style with their wicketkeeper Hales ruthlessly taking four stumping chances and two run outs to bring them right back into the game. Berkhamsted - needing 16 to win from the last pair – looked to have secured victory after a good innings of 14 from Oliver Holdroyd but, in an incredible finish, with Berko 7 runs ahead, Dimwoody pulled off a great one-handed caught-and-bowled off the very last ball to give Redbourn the win by a single run. An entertaining evening at Castle Hill!
