Match report In a low scoring game dominated by the bowlers, Berkhamsted batted first but found runs hard to come by. Devan was the most successful Leverstock bowler with two wickets, but the whole team bowled well and wickets fell regularly thanks to some excellent catching and fielding. Charlie Lupton and Will Goodwyn did well with the bat, and Ben Mackey top scored after hitting three consecutive boundaries. Having posted a modest total of 222, Berko were soon right back in the match with three early wickets, but it was neck and neck from then on with Mo and Jamie putting Leverstock into a strong position with the final overs approaching. But a wicket maiden from Jonathan Garwood and a run out by George Wardle and Charlie Lupton meant the scores were level with just one over left. In a tense finale, and after some tough resistance from the final pair, James Wilton bowled Devan to give Berkhamsted a win by a very narrow margin.
