Match report On a better summers day berko were put in to bat against watford town. All the way through the innings berkhamsted lost wickets with only Bray looking in form with a classical 40. He was well supported by herring (13) and

Scott(17) and with some good running at the end by Hardy 15 not out we managed to scramble to 140 all out.

With what looked like at least 30 short of par we went out to bowl in the knowledge that we had bowled teams out cheaply more than oce this year

We started well taking early wickets, leaving Watford at 10-2 then after some small partnerships they were 70-5 and the game was well balanced untill their middle order took it to 123-6

soon the game looked like it was slipping untill Herring and janaway struck each in the space of 8 balls when the game was finely balanced at 133-8 untill a great catch by Seagrave then Scott at square leg won the game by only 1 run giving Berkhamsted a full 30 points taking them to the top of the table for the first time this season
