Match report on what looked liked the best deck we had seen all year fish as usual lost the toss and we were put in to bat.
we got of to a nervous start and at 50-3 fish and parker jones came together at the crease. The run rate soon was pushing 5 an over with parker jones (64) hitting the ball square well and dropping and running well and fish (55) hitting the ball straight the knebworth fielders were soon spread. 140-3 soon became 157-6. in slight trouble and potentailly not batting the overs foster (37*) was steered the tail along and got us to a decent score of 235-8 in 53

in reply knebworth had there fair share of luck and raced to 70-0 off 10. after foster got rid of the top 3 berkhamsted applied the pressure and took wickets at crucial times. By the end the rate was up to 10 an over and they had shut up shop. A controversial run out (given not out) potentially cost us 11 points as knebworth saw off the last few overs 9 wickets down. A solid game alround and with 5 players returning competition for places should spur us on!
