Match report on a wet wicket berkhamsted won the toss and with no durpise bowled 1st. The hoddeson openers looked quite comfortable oly janerway broke through with 2 wickets in 3 balls and from then on it was all berko with hoddesdon wickets falling on a regular basis.Gerrard 4-26 janaway 4-50 and herring 1-5 finished off the innings with the score on 100 in 35 overs. With good cathing and fiedling all the way through the side hoddeson never got going. A welcome change for berkhamsted!In reply the chase was never easy and with foster (21) looking in good touch there were nerves flowing hrough the side at 78-7 but herring(17*) took a swift 16 off an over soon eased the nerves and the target was got with 4 byes so a welcome 1st win for berkhamsted!
