Match report Most readers of my fine match reports may be disappointed by the lack of commentary following this weeks game. Unfortunately rain ruined the game for the players and the regular readers. Highlights were as follows:

Picturesque ground
Joycey driving slower than Miss Daisy
Skipper winning toss and electing to bowl
Dighty getting injured in the forth over and having to leave the field
2 catches from Jamie "Come on Spencer, don't throw like a sissy" Lewis at point
Seb getting smash for 19 off an over
James taking a wicket the third ball after the re-start only for the teams to go off immediately after due to more rain

I would like to think that had the rain not abandoned the game we would have gone on to win. But with only half points available, 10 men, a main bowler down and the opposition going at 6 an over I wasn't too disappointed we drew stumps early and tucked into a very good spread for tea.
