Match report In recent years we have lost some very close games to Tring but this time we just edged them out in a low scoring contest. Our innings started quickly with Josh Roberts scoring quickly including a huge six onto the road and one bounce into someones front garden. After Josh went though we struggled as Trings bowlers got on top and it took some frenzied running between the wickets from skipper Edward and Nic Tivey to post a modest 92.

Trings batting line up was missing a couple of lads away on holiday but they still had a decent team out and with the two Sams at the crease a victory looked on the cards. Fortunately our bowlers (especially Ethan) bowled good lines and eventually the wickets began to tumble. Jonny took another great catch to add to his collection and Hoppy threw down the stumps for a run out. With Hamish bowling well at the death and Nic keeping superbly standing in for on holiday Nick we ran out close winners and progressed to u16 county Finals Day on 2 september.
