Match report We made hard work of that. Some great batting from our opening pair who rotated the strike and punished the bad balls helped us set a good total of 144.
At 1/2 time we spoke about how crutial the first 5 overs were goping to be and we were magnificent in the field. 3 run outs and a great catch from Adam Sibley had them reeeling at 21 for 4. we follwed it up with some great catching and had them 49 for 8 off 10 overs. Game in the bag we thought. How wrong we were. Sving a couple of big hitters down the order who swung down the line we nearly threw it away as Watford went to 126 for 8...In a crisis send for super Ben Chalmers who had the big hitting Saqib caught behind. Needing 16 of the last 2 Tom Mills got the number 11 in a right tizzy who then ran himslef out trying to get the excellent Charlie back on strike. Big big sigh of relief. Well done boys very very proud of your fielding display today.
