Match report A disappointing end to the league season saw us slip to an 8 wicket defeat. Our batting was much improved on the previous match with Calum Alexander leading the way with 36. Sam Hauck looked in great form until he swiped and missed a straight one and there were useful contributions from Jacob and James.

In fairness to the lads it was a miserable night to bowl and field with constant drizzle falling but our overall performance was not quite up to scratch. The Lewarne brothers bowled a good opening spell of 3 overs each and after 6 overs The opposition were only on 28. Regrettably though we missed a couple of catches and two fairly easy chances for run outs and the reprieved batters took full advantage hitting 52 and 47 to win the game comfortably with an over to spare. Tactically we also made a couple of mistakes and if we are to win the trophy this year we will have to do much better on Finals Day.
