Match report We lost our first game of the season thanks to an abject batting display. Potten Ends opening bowlers Mogan and Gasper must have thought christmas had come early as the strong Berko batting order lost their first 6 wickets for just 19 runs in 5 mad overs. This included a hat trick for Mogan who followed up his 3 wickets with 3 wides - maybe a unique double.

James Lagdon and Jack Hunter then returned some sanity to proceedings before they were both bowled in quick succession. Jacob was making batting look very easy at the other end but unfortunately the last wicket fell in the 16th over and he was left high and dry. Extras were comfortably top scorer with 31.

We battled back well with the ball and took 5 wickets including a stunning caught and bowled from Theo but on a small fast outfield our score was never going to be good enough and in the end Potten End breezed home with 15 balls to spare, Josh Hart hitting the winning runs on his birthday which prompted Mrs Hart to dish up a delicious big cake to all the players! Well done to Potten End who we hope to be able to play again in the Final on July 17th.
