Match report Another good win for the lads who are continuing to improve as a team. This game was closer than it looks though and Berko were indebted to a belligerent innings by Nick Williams who saved the day after we had been reduced to 38 for 4 off 9 overs.

Earlier Chorleywood won the toss and batted first, notching up 100 exactly off their 20 overs. Jacob was the pick of the bowlers with his usual reliable accuracy claiming 3 wickets and Sam Hauck bowled big away swingers and was really unlucky not to pick up a hatful. Highlight of the innings was a magnificent running catch from James Lagdon which any professional would have been pleased with.

Our batting was a little pained especially for Calum who copped one in the unmentionables and struggled to find his usual fluency, but just as we were floundering Nick came in, survived a dropped catch and then drove and pulled powerfully to a splendid 37. James calmly stroked the winning runs with 8 balls to spare.

We now have a break for half term then back into action on June 5th away to watford
