Match report Hemel Hempstead came to visit the Intrepids and were put into bat. The Berkhamsted bowling was tight and the fielding was top drawer preventing the Hemel batsmen from taking any easy runs. The pressure built and the first change bowlers reaped the reward as the Hemel batsmen tried to force the pace. Jack Furlong (7 over 4 for 7) with a man of the match performance was the pick but Rob Prunty (6 overs 3 for 23) and James Chambers (10.2 over 2 for 27) gave him good support. Having only 86 to chase down and 50 overs in which to do it looked like a comfortable ride for the Intrepids but as is often the case we let things slip a little chasing wide or long hop deliveries and were undone. That man Furlong came to the rescue with a solid innings to see us home and an early bath.
