Match report The 4ths completed their 4th consecutive win with another good bowling performance against Potters Bar. Stand in skipper Mark Lewarne lost the toss and Potters Bar batted, but their openers were pinned down by a great opening burst by Rajib and Martin which on another day could have produced 5-6 wickets but with a few difficult chances being spilt we went into drinks with the opposition on 46-1 after 23 overs. After drinks the wickets began to tumble with our colts at the forefront of the action. Josh Roberts bowled a great spell without any luck and Edward Butler-Caddle and Romit Patel both snared 2 wickets apiece, Steve Wale taking 3 catches. A couple of run outs and 2 well deserved wickets for Martin meant we only had to chase 124 to win.

The wicket was playing a lot slower than in recent weeks after some rain and run scoring was not easy but fortunately Steve battled through for a patient half century well supported by Peps who played some elegant legside shots. In the end a comfortable win with 11 overs to spare.
