Match report Another good team performance by the U14B team. The lads are improving with each game and awareness of tactics is also developing. We won the toss and decided to bat and it was a surprise when both our openers were caught in the first 2 overs. We then lost another batter in a terrible run out but the damage was quickly repaired by Ben Towler (12) and Jacob Lewarne (20) who batted sensibly and pushed plenty of singles and two's. When Ben was yorked and jack ran himself out Sam Hauck came in and continued his good form with a rapid 31. There was also a good partnership at the end by Jack Hunter and Ben Rochford who both made 15.

Boxmoor started well but once Jacob struck with his first ball the innings began to falter. James Lagdon took 2 wickets in an over, there were 2 run outs and Libby Marsden took 2 good catches behind the stumps. Boxmoor, who only had 10 men, were bowled out in the 17th over with Jack Hunter taking a great catch to finish the game.
