Match report A good win for the U14B team, won by a combination of straight accurate bowling and a great knock of 39 from Nick Williams full of attacking shots.

Although we should have probably scored more than 92 a lot of our boys are lacking match practice and will improve as the season moves along. What was impressive was our bowling, with all 10 boys bowling 2 overs each and everyone performing well. The variety was good as well, a hostile opening spell from Jack Hunter which had their opener retreating to square leg, deadly accuracy from Robert Prunty who picked up 2 wickets (would have been 3 had he remembered to appeal for a plumb LBW), offspin from James Lagdon and Calvin Lennox and some leggies from Nick Williams. Wickets were shared around all the bowlers and we held our catches with Libby Marsden also doing well behind the stumps on her debut.

A good term performance.
