Scorecard

Tring Park v Berkhamsted Cricket Club U14 A on Fri 11 Jun 2010 at 6pm
Berkhamsted Cricket Club Lost Tring won by 38 runs

Match report Oh dear. We normally have very close games against Tring but this was perhaps our poorest batting performance since we started in 2006. The pitch at Tring isnt easy, low and slow with the occasional ball that "stops" and Tring did well to post a score of 105. Daniel Angel bowled really well, took three wickets and nearly had a had trick and Jack Hunter judged 2 very high catches perfectly. Jonathan Harvey also bowled tightly and at the half way stage the game looked winnable.

Our batting was a horror story - talented players completely out of sorts and all trying to work the ball into the legside which was well protected. Tring found it all very easy as wicket after wicket was gifted away and they ran out very comfortable winners. Qualification for quarter finals now looking unlikely unless we have a big change in performance!
