Match report Our 4th match saw the team travel to Potten End. A bit of warm weather and some familiar faces (from schools) greeted our team members that today included three girls making their debut - Sarah Harris, Jessica Potts and Jasmine Wright.

Berko were put into bat and every player contributed a bit to push the score up to 267 for 2. The stars of the show were undoubtedly the 3 girls, focusing on good calling and swift running between the wickets. Sarah & Jessica put on the highest partnership of the match - 23 runs while Jasmine batted with great maturity at the end.

Our fielding has improved a lot since the opening match and today a disciplined effort saw us hold on to 2 catches, get one run-out and save many runs through energetic fielding. Sam Lawlor bowled well and ended his spell with 2 wickets off successive balls. Potten End were always behind the required run rate and in the face of accurate bowling by all the bowlers meant that in the end it was much easier than some of the previous matches. They ended at 248 for 5, BCC won by 19 runs. Well done to the team !
