Match report Another chilly morning saw another red hot performance from the Under 9 team! A strong Redbourn team were overcome by a combination of excellent Berkhamstead batting (Will Gardener top scoring with 12, beautifully supported by Tom Meacock with 9 in a record final pair partnership of 29), very tight bowling (Tom Meacock & Tom Lewis both taking 2 wickets & Alfie J conceding just 1 run) and very sharp fielding (particularly from Joe D and Charlie Mann).

It was a splendid team display typified by James Weller's all round contribution with bat (5 runs) and ball (only 1 run conceded). Captain for the day was Alfie who marshalled the team well in the field. Well done chaps!
