Match report An extraordinary semi final which we nearly lost after being in total control. We batted first and posted a great score thanks to 2 really good knocks from Calum (36) and Jack Hunter (50 not out) - and when we reduced St Albans to 56-5 from 11 overs the game looked in the bag. Then the wheels started to come off as we bowled wides, no-balls and conceded runs off almost every delivery. Nick Williams and James Lagdon both took 3 wickets each but they couldnt stop the runs flowing and going into the last over St Albans needed just 5 to win with 2 wickets in hand. Thankfully Jacob kept his nerve, took a wicket and then stayed calm to run out the last batter with the scores tied. We had conceded a shocking 50 extras but still won. What a match!
