We are very proud of our girls section at the club, we are one of the pioneer clubs in Hertfordshire who provide both training and competitive cricket for girls.     


Girls-only coaching takes
place throughout the summer from 10.00 to 12.00 on Sundays for those who join the Cricket Club. If you are new, you may come to one free taster session. 

We can also cater for those girls who would prefer to play in mixed teams or sessions – each Sunday morning.
 
All our club coaches are ECB-qualified, fully CRB checked and have an excellent reputation for making their sessions safe, fun and very enjoyable.

Girls should wear trainers plus comfortable clothing. Cricket whites are not compulsory but a white top is preferable. Make sure that warm/waterproof clothing is provided should the weather turn cold or wet. If it’s hot please make sure that sun cream is applied before arriving at the Club.

All equipment is provided, no need to buy anything - but a full range of kit is available when you are ready.

We have 2 girls teams in the Hertfordshire Junior Leagues.  The U11s play pairs cricket with a soft ball and the U13 team play 20/20 games with a hardball.  

Girls playing for Berkhamsted have a pathway to County teams (which are desperate for new talent!)
