Match report Berko batted first after winning the toss and got off to a steady start, with Dudley and Brown notching up a 4 an over 60 run partnership. From there, the wickets went steadily for a while. Despite an agressive 27 from Barty, we found ourselves at 110-6. Sherj and Jez then built a big, fast partnership to take the score past 200 and Rajib finished off with some lusty blows.

In reply, one of the Hatters' openers was obviously put there to really go for it and a number of leg-side big hits raced them to over 50 in the first 5 overs. Martin Ledger got rid of him though and wickets fell regularly to leave Hatters struggling at about 110-7. However, Hatters weren't giving up and threw the bat, with the tail having a few players who had a good eye. It got down to needing 35 off the last 4 overs and 23 from the last 2 before the number 11 was run out attempting to give the remaining quality batsman the strike.
