Match report A decent batting effort on a wet track, peter such(essex and england) was by far the only bowling threat and was hard to get away a return of 19/4/42/5. The main downfall in the innings was no one went on to score anything big we were back to last years efforts of making starts and no conversion.

In return our first 20 overs was well belowe par with the ball and Mason (western Australia) and captain o'brian punished the bad ball every time. We started to pick up regular wickets and when wilson (surry and ireland) was clean bowled we looked as though we had a small chance but it was not to be. Tot mill hiil knocked off the runs with 4 overs to spare and 4 wickets in hand,

A good debut from ben beard in the field.

next week is st margaretsbury at home, an improved bowling performance will be needed!
