Match report A very good team performance despite the result. Vinit won the toss and decided to bat first. Dave and Jacob got off to a good start putting on a good opening partnership. Jacob feel to the opener who was bowling very tight, and bowled a peach to remove Amour for a duck. Dave fell shortly after and Berko looked in trouble, not helped by Vinit hitting a full toss straight to mid off. Pete batted excellently putting Berkhamsted in a better position despite wickets falling around him. The lower order of Emma, Neil, Kate and Phil put on some very important runs and helped Berko get to a good target given the start.
Shenley came out on the Attack with Vinit going for a few early on, but picking up the wicket of one of the openers. Phil bowled excellently in his 8 overs and deserved a wicket. Kate and Steve bowled well, but a very good innings from one of the openers and their number 3 looking to hit everything out of the ground started to put the game out of Berko's reach, Neil came on to bowl and was very tidy and deserved hist wicket. With the scores tied it seemed like shenley wanted to hit everything for 6 losing 3 wickets in the same number of overs without scoring.
