Match report The Under 9s had a very good game at Rickmansworth on a bright sunny morning. Unfortunately we lost but all the boys played well and are showing signs of real improvement over previous matches. The fielding and backing up was very good and the calling / running between the wickets was generally much better. Final score was Rickmansworth 290, BCC 234.

There some very good performances from the boys; Sam Pimm captained and organised the boys very well on the field, Tom Bailey took a great catch at cover, the bowling generally was much better - Matthew Dight was particularly tidy (3 overs, 1 wicket for a net +1). On the batting, we were doing very well until one of their bowlers managed to get two wickets in consecutive balls! Jacob Ashburner was very unlucky with a runout in the last pairing. Highest scorer was Logan Mackie with 7 (including a well judged 4).

Well done boys, I'm sure our first win isn't far away!
