Match report A nail-biting game that went right down to the final over as the U10 B team tried to finish their season on a high.

With three players – Callum Brookes Duncan, Ed Park and Ben Alderson – making their U10 debuts, Berko managed to restrict Hemel to 246, with Anna Nicholls, Charlie Nicholls and Ed getting the wickets. In reply our batters managed to survive 11 overs without losing a wicket, and with the last pair at the crease the win looked within reach. Ben and Charlie pushed the score along with some good calling and running but with the boys chasing 15 off the last two overs, Hemel took a crucial wicket to put their total beyond reach. An exciting end to what’s been a very encouraging season.
