Match report Oppo turned up at 12.55, won toss and decided to bat.

The younger than usual looking line up started well with a quick opening wicket. After that, despite reasonable looking figures from all of the bowlers, it fekt that we lacked bite and aggression in our bowling. All would agree that we should not have been facing a chase of 148.

Tea wasn't at the usual standard - not sure why - lack of the variety that we are used to.

Skip announced the top 5 naively believing that should be enough. The top 5 all got started, Dan A was out to a good catch and Jamie a good ball nipping back up the hill, but none went on and got us home. We therefore had our usual mini collapse. Along with the lack of killer instinct whilst we were bowling, the senior members were left somewhat flat, despite the win.

Early season rustiness - a win is a win.
