Match report I had rained, it was raining and it was supposed to carry on raining. The sky cleared on route and Bushey had covers. Off they came, skip lost the toss out to bowl we went.

It was hot.

A great all round effort to keep Bushey down to 185 off 53 overs on a lifeless wicket in that heat. The only stain on an otherwise excellent effort was the dropped catches. We dropped nearly as many as we caught and probably dropped the easier ones.

Tea was all right but we were so hot that most of us weren't hungry. Hats off to the oppo as half of them were fasting and I can't imagine how we would have coped in that heat without food or water.

Out to bat. The top order struggled. Three of the top four were undone by the same delivery by Singh - the in cutter. Riaz please note. Luke scored a few but the key innings was George and the key partnership was his with Rob. Whilst slightly agricultural Rob's 31 contributed to a crucial 51 partnership for the 5th wicket. This kept us in tough and allowed us to bring it home, although only just!

Well done to all. An excellent all round effort and that is four wins out of 5. Promotion is in our grasp.
