Players
Huw Barnett Member profile Huw Barnett
Huw is a specialist leg spinner who is the Colts record wicket taker with over 50 batsmen totally fooled by his spin and variations last year. Another of our six feet tall Colts, he gets massive turn in both directions and has a mean fast ball. He is another of our colts who represents the club at District and Sub-County with a place in the full County side on the books. An excellent fielder with a strong arm, Hugh has played for the 1st XI this year. Like all of the Colts, he is an excellent Batsman when he gets the opportunity, and has already scored a 50 this year.
Ali Bray Member profile Ali Bray
Ali Bray - good kit man
Middle order stroke player - opening bowler.
Ali missed a chunk of 2008 with a knee injury and was missed badly with both bat and ball. He showed what he could do late in the season with some quickfire run at the top of the order. No doubt more bowling duties in 2009

Stephen Dight Member profile - no photo available Stephen Dight
Father of Matthew Dight in the Under 9's. Former player with Berko.
Doug Foster Member profile Doug Foster
doug or fresh was a vital player in 2008 ... norman was gratef ull for such a interesting taxi ride each week. A useful batsmen in any position and an economical bowler who rarely did not perform superb fielder and looking forward to running sharky out in 2009
Ian Hammond Member profile Ian Hammond
hamo or stats useful top order batsmen and good fine leg fielder hamo likes to be aggressive and will be looking to convert his starts more often in 2009
Oliver Janaway Member profile Oliver Janaway
Janners has been the leading wicket taker every year he has played for the truckers and surely will be there abouts this year
A fine all round cricket player.
Janners no doubt will try for a few more runs this year after often getting starts
Jack Kilgannon Member profile Jack Kilgannon
jack or jackson had a good start in his 1st season at the club taking some vital wickets at time. He often got a start with the bat and will hope to take a step forward in converting them in to big`scores in the the new season
Jamie Kingstone Member profile - no photo available Jamie Kingstone
a fine keeper/batsmen Jamie will be in his 2nd season in 2009 and will play a key role in the top order. He showed what talent he has with the bat and the gloves in 2009.
Luke O'Dair Member profile Luke O'Dair
Luke is an excellent all round cricketer who bats, bowls and fields to a very high level. He has represented the club at District and Sub-County level and plays regularly with the 2nd and 3rd XI's. He is another of our colts pushing for a 1st XI place this year. He scored his first 100 not out this year for the adult side. His fast accurate bowling troubles batsmen at all levels, and he is known for spectacular catches and direct hits. He averaged 30 with the bat last year despite having to retire at 50!
Jez O'Neil Member profile - no photo available Jez O'Neil
Another free transfer follwing killganon to the mighty truckers.
A fine fives player in the making, not a bad keeper either...great hands
Mike Smith Member profile Mike Smith
Mike has continued to play for Berkhamsted despite moving away from the area and last season contributed a pleasant 32 away at Preston. After this, he was rarely required to bat but did get the side over the line in the rain against Old Albanians.
Sebastian Smith Member profile Sebastian Smith
Seb is another excellent all rounder who is equally happy with the bat or the ball in his hand. Another District player pushing for a County spot, Seb is an extremely fast bowler who takes wickets at all levels, as six unhappy adults found out in a recent game! Seb is easily capable of a 50 every time he bats, and is very athletic in the field, taking superb catches and with a strong arm. He is another Colt who plays regularly with the full adult sides and is a natural athlete. 4th XI Player of the year 2008 and a regular in the 3rd and 2nd XI now.
James Stedman Member profile James Stedman
James joined us at the start of the 2006 season and quickly became an integral part of the top order. At home opening the innings or at 3, his century against St Margetsbury was one the highlights of the season.

A former Bedfordshire player, James will be a key batsman in the 2008 Division One season.
