Match report Berko won the toss and inserted OH as the pitch looked patchy and slow. OC should have struck in his first over as the ball skidded into the openers pads but the appeal was turned down and Surepeddi went on to score 68. OC did strike in his next over with an outside edge to Miles and kept control all the way through his spell. Matt bowled the number 3 with the first ball of his spell before injuring his back in his 3rd over and taking no further part in the game. OH were just 58/2 at drinks but with a man down in the field Berko were given the run around in the second half with a mix of big hits and good running. There was a good catch by Oli at long on and Miles pulled off a good stumping. Jake, Jess & Oli's figures don't do them justice for the hard work and good lines they bowled but with a short boundary one side and license to hit out OH cashed in and 229/8 felt a few too many on a slow deck.

In reply, Dave was out early before Miles and Oscar dug in but good bowling added pressure to the chase and both were bowled. Brownie showed aggression but again OH targetted the stumps and the tail was blown away with Matt & Oli unable to bat. Charlie (36) stood out with his calmness at the crease and played shots to keep the board ticking over including a well played reverse sweep for 4. Overall, with 6 of the 8 wickets to fall being bowled it was a disappointing performance with the bat and it will be good to return to the safe haven of Puds' pitch next week
