Summer Cricket Courses 2012

Do you want your children to spend the summer indoors playing computer games and crying "I'm bored!"...Or would you prefer them to be outside, having fun, learning and playing cricket in a safe environment with their friends, being thoroughly worn out?

Berkhamsted Cricket Club's Summer Cricket Courses are now a well-established favourite for boys and girls from school year 2 and up.  Children experience a mix of coaching, skills challenges, lots of competitions, games and practice matches. Those attending a full week will be able to work towards cricket competence certificates to recognise their achievements.

All the courses are run by ECB-qualified, experienced coaches from the Club.

This year’s Summer's cricket courses at Berkhamsted CC will be in the following weeks:

1. 23rd to 27th July - places available
2. 30th July to 3rd August- places available

Each week will cost £100 per child for the full five days or £25 per individual day, which includes an early bird discount, for bookings made before the end of June. Sibling discount of 20% for 2nd child (and a further 20% off that for a third child). After June prices will rise to £120 for the full five days and £30 per individual day.

• Start at 10.00am and end at 3.00pm each day. Participants are required to be at the Cricket Club 10mins early i.e. 9.50am
• Children will require a drink and a lunch box. If they have their own kit bring it along, otherwise the Club will provide the necessary bats, pads etc.
• Children should wear trainers plus comfortable clothing. Whites are not compulsory but they do look better. Make sure that warm/waterproof clothing is provided  should the weather turn cold or wet. If it's hot please make sure that sun cream is applied before arriving at the Club
• Children may want to bring pocket money to buy drinks or snacks from the bar/shop
• In the event of rain, we will take the children into the Clubhouse and run quiz's, show DVDs etc
